How long does it take to ship?

I use USPS Ground Advantage which usually takes 2-5 business days once it has been shipped. It may take an additional 2-3 days for your order to be processed before it is shipped. Once I have processed your order, you will get a tracking #, and then it is all in the hands of the USPS.

Why can’t I get 2-day shipping?

There’s currently just 1 human being behind ratbird who lovingly makes and ships your packages. It may take a little longer to receive than shopping with Amazon, but hopefully supporting the human being behind this business makes up for it. I chose a budget-friendly shipping option, so you can get your package relatively quickly for a relatively low price :).

What kind of packaging do you use? Is it recyclable?

I use a recyclable, rigid mailer so that your items won’t get bent on their journey to you. It is recyclable! :).

Where are your products produced?

Some of my vinyl stickers are printed in Canada, and most of my other products are made by me right here in my home studio :).


Help! My package is missing, stolen, or damaged!

Once the package leaves my tiny little hands, the USPS will be the ones in charge and the ones who can help you. These packages are insured, so you can file a claim here to get a refund!

My package got returned to you :(

If the package was returned because you typed the wrong address or had an incomplete address, you can a) get a refund minus the shipping or b) get it reshipped to the correct address, however you will need to pay for the shipping. Contact me here with your preference.

Do you take returns?

I don’t take returns. If something is defective, please let me know and send a picture so I can replace it. If the item got damaged in the post, please file a claim with USPS to get your refund. Then if you feel really sad about the missing items, you can reorder here :)

Oops! I typed the wrong address! What do I do now?

Send me an email as quickly as possible. If I haven’t shipped it, I will update the address. If the package has already shipped, you will need to pay for the shipping again, and I will resend it to the correct address.

Why don’t you ship internationally?

It’s not you; it’s me. I am still figuring out how to ship internationally. Maybe that is something coming in the future!
